Big Brother Systems were incorporated in 2001, and were trading for 4 years prior to that, as a business we were possibly the first in the UK to offer digital CCTV using a DVR card in a PC, others were still playing with Quads and Time Lapse videos while we offered huge recording periods from Motion Detection based products, from this a wealth of experience has been developed which relates to the high quality and technically advanced and affordable products we offer.

We are a family run business, as much as possible is assembled here in Stoke on Trent in our modern up to date factory premises. We assemble DVR's and PC based DVR's, Infra Red Cameras, Covert Cameras and miniature DVR's, PTZ's and Zoom Cameras through to cables and power supplies, with production being done ourselves it provides maximum product knowledge, and with extensive test procedures , testing both before and after assembly and finally testing again as the product is ready to go offers extremely reliable products.

It is good for the customer to know we  source components for all our CCTV products directly and only from manufacturers, so no middle men, distributors or dealers are taking a cut, " no one knows more about any product than the person who designed and made it"  on this basis we  offer only the very latest but affordable technology direct to the user and installer, the high standard of equipment will be seen as you browse through our shop, we also offer the highest warranty period which reflects on the confidence we have in our products. 

To date: over 10,000 customers, over 6000 installations & all going strong.

We have a large modern heated showroom, always manned with equiment on show from the smallest connector to 32 Channel DVR's all running live, Coffee with Latte & Capuchino variants and Tea are available at no cost, there is no pressure you can sit and chat, it has been like this since 1997,  if you see anything offered on our site you have interest in you can get hands on if you wish.  

In 2007at the start of the Terror Campaign that hit the UK we were appointed by the Combined Terrorist Unit of the Metropolitan Police to provide equipment and resources to process footage on demand  from hundreds of  DVR's & PC based DVR's plus many confiscated machines and all as a matter of urgency, our factory provided a Midlands Base for the CTU and although most machines had non working USB ports and  CD Drives the ones that did work had no software or manuals,  so even with No Time on our side we produced the evidence quickly which consumed  thousands of CD's & DVD's , this meant that investigations could proceed rapidly and as we all know it led to eventual convictions.

Also  In 2007 we proudly accepted a Specially Commissioned Plaque made specially as an award by the Combined Terrorist Unit of the West Midlands Police for the prompt and precise work we carried out for them during the 2007 Terrorism attacks in the UK.  This Plaque is proudly displayed in our showroom.

We still process footage for all sorts of "Odd Ball" DVR's for many Police Authorities and we are very happy still to do this on demand, (usually from snatched DVR's, some days we see as many as 4 a day) , our experience has meant that we have seen possibly every make of  DVR sold in this country and we can remove evidence from any DVR as long as it will play back, if there is no USB Port or CD drive we can still remove footage and burn it to CD.

This also means that if you have a DVR or PC based DVR that has a problem we can more than likely repair it for you.
