Lens for board Camera, 8mm, I/R sensitive,

A simple to install replacement 8mm lens for Board Camera, ideal if you wish to modify a wide angle camera to give you a closer shot of a gateway or a car.

I/R sensitive for night shots, please note this is NOT a standard lens but an I/R sensitve lens designed in Japan for use with both standard Cameras and I/R Cameras, most standard len's are very poor at night but nevertheless are fitted by many other manufacturers to keep the costs down.

View angle approx 45 degrees.

Although designed for a 1/3" CCD it will work with most 1/4" CCD's resulting in an even closer shot of approx 15 degrees less

This a Japanese made, high quality 8mm lens for most standard CCTV cameras with a fixed lens.

To replace an existing lens, unscrew the small Philips screw which locks the lens, unscrew the old unit , fit the new unit by simply screwing onto the lens mount, screw in or out to focus then lock with Philips screw.

This lens brings the subject closer than a 6mm lens with 45 degree view angle

As an OEM Company along with every other CCTV Camera manufacturer we recomend narrower shots for less I/R glare back and increased defintion.
