his is the Latest "Dual Core Balun with Double Power integrated Technology Boost" for CCTV with Power over CAT5e, and is a "Unique" device that sends Video without loss down Cat5e. Voltage is assisted by the integrated Voltage Amplifier providing greater distances than any other POE Balun on the market

This Power Over Cat5 Kit excludes RJ45 connectors for round cable in the price, (our part no: RJ45crimp/20) check out our Connectors & Tool section if you need the correct Crimp Tool. This is a kit of Passive Baluns (Transmitter & Receiver) that can provide Video, & Power down Cat5e Network cable , distances are dependant on the current consumption of the Camera, please check the images on this page which include distance calculations based on the current draw of your camera which must be I/R on or motor running etc.

This kit by adding local power to the camera can take advantage of the latest internal Dual Core technology to send amplified Video up to 100 Metres approx down Cat5e when balanced filters out any noise, but earth looping can cause havoc when cameras are powered from a source with different earth potentials than the earthing point where the DVR and cameras are powered from. The built in filtering in this Balun (transmitter & receiver) evens up the earth potential and can eliminate as much earth looping as most Hum blockers on the market Note that standard cat5e is usually 24 SWG, it is important that to achieve the distances the 4 x twisted pairs are solid Copper, distances for power can be greatly increased by using 22 SWG or even better with 16 SWG The only connections needed are 2 x RJ45 Network plugs (our part no: RJ45crimp/20) per camera and a low cost RJ45 Crimp tool or you can order our pre-made cables so the installation is simply plug in, or for office or home installation you can use RJ-45 computer network sockets and simply plug in short length leads from the socket to the Receiving Balun plugged into the DVR. Note this system is for 12V DC operation only
