 Free delivery applies to this offer & 1 years warranty Sony Based 36 x Optical Zoom Colour Camera with RS485 control & On Screen Set up, this unit auto-focuses automatically and quickly as you zoom it or as the subject moves. You can set it up manually by using the buttons on the rear of the Camera where it will still auto focus, or you can control this from a PC you will need a DVR card and our RS485 adapter for a PC.

 All our DVR's have the controller embedded to operate the zoom via Cat5e cable with no extra hardware to buy, if you are not sure if your DVR can control it check for RS-485 A & B connections on the rear and that your menu shows PTZ with the most common protocol... Pelco-D 2400 , if yes it will work, if you have a PC you need to purchase our RS-485 adapter, PC software usually has PTZ setup and all the software protocols included.

This Camera can be controlled by any DVR or PC or controller with Pelco-D 2400 protocols, note it cannot be controlled by our: PT-IR-Controller, we believe this to be the only device that cannot Zoom it, and understand that it is due to a Copyright issue.

Clearest shots with SWDR (Super Wide Dynamic Range) & 3DNR

WDR on this system is fully automatic and embedded,  the Camera unit had Dual CCD's,  2 images are taken per frame at the same time then processed at the same time thus providing a a clearer shot, the effect is that dynamically twice as many pixels are in the shot as a non WDR camera.)

This is a unique Camera which can be zoomed from a DVR, PC or keyboard controller, or simply set it up manually using the OSD and it will still auto-focus as things move, This is great for number plates etc, number plates are easily readable in daylight on fast traffic in excess of 85-95 Metres also at this distance facial recognition is easier.

This camera really comes into its own when the lens is zoomed, realistically it is a total waste of money to use this set to a wide angle.

Large Supermarkets with large floor arear can site this unit way away from vunerable areas and still get a close shot that can fill the screen,  also subjects where the light is behind them are adjusted so that the sillouhette is minimal and you can see detail of the front subject and the background.

Electronics are Sony 1/4" Super HAD 700 TVL fitted with a 5mm - 129 mm Optical Japanese Aspherical Lens with a View angle of approx 50 degrees to less than 1 degree when zoomed,  (an Aspherical Lens is one that does not conform to the shape of a Sphere so distortion is reduced)  there is a fast Autofocus and automatic Iris, AWB, BLC & AGC can be easily setup using the standard On Screen Display (OSD) .

Protocols and Baud rate can be setup to match the DVR or PC-DVR so control can be carried out over CAT5e using RS485,  images can then be zoomed with a Mouse, all our DVR's and all our DVR cards have full support for this Camera. (Note our I/R Remote Controller is not supported by this Camera at the moment)

Unit excludes a bracket but requires a housing if it is to be used outside, (our product code: HOUSING1), Sensor is day/night down to less than 0.01 Lux. and is I/R responsive.
