This unit will drive any combination of up 16 x 12V DC cameras available on the market, this unit drive any combination up to 16 fixed Cameras and and 12V DC Speed Domes as long as the maximum load of 40 Amps is not exceeded.  to date we have assembled here in Stoke on Trent over 500 of these units with the old 22A rating , the unit has now been uprated to 40 Amps after the 25th November 2011, the previous mdel never had a return, this new higher rated unit will prove to be the same,  this is totally Bullet-Proof.

This unit comes with an IEC kettle lead with a UK 13 Amp plug, totally plug n' play , a qualified electrician is not required to install this unit.

Connection is by a flying lead with 16 x 2.1mm Power Plugs moulded to the cable and to complete the installation 16 x 2.1mm power Sockets are included for you to connect the Camera Power Cables to this Power Supply.   The only tools required is a small electricians screwdriver.

LED indicator shows 12V DC Active

This is a sealed Switched Mode 12V Power Supply that delivers 40 Amps across all 16 outputs, all 16 outputs are shared but variable, e.g. 1 Channel could draw 3 amps say for a Speed Dome and the other 15 can draw any combined current up to the total loading of 40 Amps, makes this more practical than a fixed output per channel Power Supply, also unit is fan cooled. If a short circuit occurs this unit will electronically shut down and hold off until the fault is rectified, no trips, no fuses.

Unit does not have to be opened to connect up, 16 +ve and 16 -ve outputs are on a "Spider Lead" connection is via Female to Male bullets.

A fused 13A plug-top Kettle lead is supplied which simply plugs into the Kettle type socket on the Power Supply , an external Mains On/OFF switch is built into the Rear Panel.
