You can also connect to any of our DVR's to trigger a Camera to record so recording periods could run into years, or trigger an external alarm.  If you connect this Beam kit into our 16Ch DVR sereis DVR-PRO2-16-1000  or 2000 0r 4000 you can in addition turn a Speed Dome to the intrusion point when the Beams are activated, also please discuss with your installer how an Auto-Dialler can be added and this will then ring preselected mobiles until it with gets an answer so you will know that someone has crossed the Beams.

This a brand new design of Dual Infra Red Beams with a Transmitter  and Receiver in the kit, range is 100 Metres outdoor and even greater indoors, Ideal for perimeter detection of intruders , usually set a waist height allows wild life to walk under the beams, both beams have to be broken to activate the receiver unit.

Minimum installable distance about 10 - 15 Metres

Can be Pole Mounted, on Walls, Trees even looking up and down slopes up to 20 degrees and be can adjusted 180 degrees horizontally allowing close scanning down a wall, factory wall or across a large flat roof.

Activation is triggered when both Beams are broken for set period of microseconds therefore birds etc do not activate the alarm.

Unit has a built in  LCD Voltmeter to show best alignment and eyesight viewers to Assist setup especially over very long distances, Both units are very low consumption at 12V DC and link to a standard alarm Panel using a choice of Normally Open or Normally closed contacts, an output relay is also included.

Sets can be crossed if kept a few Metres apart and detect intruders especially into large gardens , farms etc before they reach the house, think about putting an autodialler onto your panel so it calls you when the beams are crossed,   We also have Remote controls with multiple Key Fobs as an optional extra so you can activate just the beams as you enter and leave the property.

Wiring back to the panel can be done with alarm wire or CAT5e , Cat5e is better, less volt drop and cheaper), Transmitter requires 12V DC and the Receiver requires 12V DC and one of the twisted pairs in the Cat5e back to the panel to trigger an alarm.  All the 12V Power can be fed from your existing panel or for an easy installation our TIMER1 can feed the 12V DC requirement.
